f(x)’s Victoria sheds tears on “We Got Married”

F(x)’s Victoria shed tears while leaving Thailand.

On the episode of MBC’s “We Got Married” that’s set to air on January 15th, 2PM’s Nichkhun and f(x)’s Victoria spend their last day in Thailand. As reported earlier, Victoria receives private swiming lessons from her husband Nichkhun, and the couple even goes Rata Tengahjet-skiing.

On their last day in Thailand, Nichkhun’s family comes out to greet them farewell at the airport, and Victoria says her last goodbyes to them. At the airport, it was reported that Victoria showed how sad she was about leaving.

During the interview she shared, “It felt like I was leaving my home. Nichkhun’s grandma and family were really good to me. My heart felt warm. I am especially thankful to Nichkhun,” shedding tears.

IU reveals what constitutes her ‘ideal guy’

Korea’s ‘national little sister’ has been headlining on the news for her modest and unique interview.

On the January 15th episode of “Entertainment Weekly“, IU was asked for the secret behind her popularity.

She answered, “I think I met a good song. I’ve received great songs from excellent songwriters.

The host then asked about what the good points were about an OST’s popularity. IU replied, “It’s nice that I don’t have to do separate broadcasting because the song is frequently played throughout the middle of the drama.

Hilariously, IU was asked about what she would do if she became invisible. “I would go to an all-boys’ high school. It’s been awhile since I saw male students in school uniforms,” said IU without a moment’s hesitation.

IU also revealed a somewhat painful detail about her personal life. “Before my duet, my family looked down on me and said, ‘You are not good at singing.’ So after that, I started diligently going to karaoke rooms.

Considering how IU’s ‘ideal guy’ has been making news for months now, the reporter than asked her to break down exactly what constituted her ideal guy. “I don’t really like handsome looking guys. If they’re handsome, it doesn’t seem realistic. He can never be mine. I just like guys who are not burdensome and charming.

IU also revealed, “The only guy that I have aegyo towards is my dad.”

On this day, IU also held a surprise guerilla concert on the streets in Hongdae.

T-Max’s Kim Joon casted for upcoming drama, “Serious Crime Squad”

T-Max’s Kim Joon (from the hit drama, “Boys Over Flowers“) has been casted for KBS 2TV’s upcoming series, “Serious Crime Squad.”

The drama currently boasts an impressive line-up of Sung Jiru, Jang Hangsun, Song Il Kuk, Kim Seung Woo and Seon Woosun, who will all throw in their efforts for a unique plot based off the lives of detectives. The group of detectives are known for a specific way they handle each case, and the drama will focus on how they solve multiple crime cases.

Kim Joon will be playing the role of a cowardly detective named ‘Shin Dongjin,’ who specializes in cyber investigations, but has trouble dealing with real-life cases because of his fear of corpses.Upon the sight of one, he’ll habitually faint, much to the criticisms of those he works with.

The drama is highly anticipated, as it plans to feature some of the most controversial cases that have happened in real life.

It’ll air its pilot episode on February 28th, so stay tuned to allkpop for future updates!

ZE:A celebrated their one-year anniversary with a surprise guerilla concert for their fans on January 15th.

Held in front of the Migliore Mall, the boys planned the special event in an effort to ‘return to their rookie mindsets’.

Battling the -16°C temperature, their 300 fans fought the cold right alongside them and cheered the boys on as they performed a total of six tracks, including “Mazeltov,” “All Day,” “My Only Wish,” and “Level Up.”

Although they originally only planned to sing three songs for a 20 minute mini-concert, the boys decided to extend it as a gift for the fans who waited for them in the blistering cold.

The boys already have experience with guerrilla tours, as they traveled across the nation prior to their debut in order to get their name known.

Leader Junyoung commented, “Performing on a wing car again felt refreshing today. Before our debut, this car felt so big, but now that we have more experience being on stage, this car feels very small now.

Kwang Hee continued, “Thank you to all our fans who came out in the cold,” while Minwoo added, “I still can’t believe it’s been a year since we’ve debuted.

Senior labelmates V.O.S also made a surprise appearance and sang their hit tracks, “It’s a Big Deal,” and “Look in my Eyes and Talk to Me,” in celebration of the group’s anniversary.

ZE:A will be making their comeback next month with their first full official album.

SNSD reveals their biggest eater and Sooyoung’s IQ

Everyone already knows that SNSD’s Sooyoung has the biggest appetite in the group, but it looks like Yoona’s usurped the title of ‘Queen Eater’.

The SNSD girls pointed her out when asked by the “Entertainment Relay” reporter about which member eats the most. Immediately, all fingers pointing Yoona out, and she readily agreed. Smiling contentedly, Yoona explained, ”When I’m eating dinner and see a cereal box in front of me, I start thinking that I have to finish eating quickly so I can eat the cereal after too.”

When asked to choose the most ‘off-the-wall’ member, Taeyeon chose maknae Seohyun and reasoned, “She’s not even off-the-wall, she’s just very strange..

Sooyoung also revealed the results from her smartphone IQ test app. “I wondered what my IQ was, so I took a test through a smartphone app, and got 62 as the results.”

The SNSD members immediately began asking Sooyoung why she would reveal that info, to which Sooyoung retorted, “I later found out that it was the app’s error.

The girls were later asked to hold their own ‘SNSD Awards Ceremony.’ Sooyoung won first place, as Tiffany reasoned, “She’s quick in learning singing, dancing, and acting.

TEEN TOP makes a comeback with “Supa Luv” on “Music Core”!

After their three-month hiatus, TEEN TOP finally made their comeback on MBC’s ‘Music Core’ with ‘Supa Luv‘!

Before their stage on KBS “Music Bank” on January 17th, TEEN TOP met with Asia Economy Sports Today and revealed, “We don’t know if it’s because we’re making a comeback after such a long time, but we’re really happy and our hearts are fluttering.”

They continued, “Until now, we’ve been busy holding fan meets in Japan and attending school. When we held our Japanese fanmeet in October last year, we were really surprised from seeing a lot more people than we expected.”

“Our comeback has a ‘Cyborg’ concept. It has a bit of cyber feel to it. We headed for a new approach after putting in a lot of thought into wanting to show a newer side to us, something different from our past concepts.”

They concluded, “We will be showing an even more perfect formation dance than during out ‘Clap‘ promotions. Please look forward to it.”
